| Navigation Help with the Petcare Software application @ mypetsoft.com
Users can learn about basic navigational skills within the application. We encourage all users; especially new users go to Intro under Help in the Main Menu of the application. Also, we encourage all users to review the FAQ for information regarding features, updates, navigation, etc. No user manual is provided.

You will need the Adobe PDF Reader in order to view, print, save or export Reports and Checklists from mypetsoft.com The Adobe PDF download is free and available directly at adobe.com We do not provide a direct link to adobe.com at this time.

Security Features
We utilize encryption technology to encrypt the password(s) you create as a Free Trial or Subscription-based user. This helps protect your account at the user content and personal information level. We encourage you to create a password with a minimum of six (6) alpha-numeric characters. We encourage you to change your password periodically. mypetsoft.com provides you with features to change your password and retrieve your password if forgotten.
We do not prevent you from sharing your login and password information with third-parties. In fact, multiple users can access your account as individual or simultaneous users if you grant them access to your account. They may be able to edit your user content or personal information while visiting your account.
There may be good reason for you to share your login and password information with third-parties on occasion. For example, you can inform third-parties (like Vet’s, Caretakers, Trusted Sources) to view and not edit your user content or personal information. Then, change your password.
When you grant third-parties access to your login and password information you do so at your own risk.

Add Pet Profiles and New Pets
All Free Trial and Basic Annual Subscription users start with two (2) pet profiles in their account. You may add Additional Pet Profiles from the mypetsoft.com shopping cart for a fee.
You may access the cart from the web service after Login or from Add Pet Profiles under Tools
in the Main Menu of the application. When you successfully pay for the additional profiles you can view the total number of active and available pet
profiles under Help / About mypetsoft.com in the Main Menu of the application.
To add a new pet name / ID simply go to New Pet under File in the Main Menu of the application and enter the new pet name / ID.
Then, you can begin to enter content for the new pet. You will also be able to view your annual expiration date on this modal.

Delete Pet Profile Feature
This Web-Version feature replaces the “Hide Pet Profile” feature in the CD-Version. This means you can completely delete a pet profile by pet name / ID. When you do so, the pet profile can be reused for a new pet name / ID. You may want to save a copy of the pet profile in your storage files using the export feature in the Adobe PDF format. After you delete the existing pet profile you can go to New Pet under File in the Main Menu of the application and create a new pet by Name or ID. Pet Profiles are not Permanent Pet Profiles on the mypetsoft.com service.

Differences in the CD and Web Version
1. Delete Pet Profile feature – this Web-Version feature replaces the “Hide Pet Profile” feature in the CD-Version. This means you can completely delete a pet profile by pet name / ID. When you do so, the pet profile can be reused for a new pet name / ID. You may want to save a copy of the pet profile in your storage files using the export feature in the Adobe PDF format. 2. Introduction and Navigation – due to technology differences in web-based controls, features, and functionality there are differences in how you save web-based user content, etc. If you are a CD-Version user please review the Intro under Help in the Main Menu and this FAQ section to ensure the best user experience.
3. Backup / Restore – the CD-Version backup and / or restore feature is not compatible with the Web-Version of the application. Due to base technology differences, data or user content is not transferable between these versions. If you switch versions you will have to retype data or user content.

Synch Address Feature
You can use the Sync Address feature to sync address information for all pet profiles to one common address. The web service and the application does not automatically sync all pet profile addresses because we have users with larger pet family populations that may travel or do not reside at the same address.

For general help-related answers review the Intro under Help in the Main Menu and this FAQ section to ensure the best user experience.
